There are situations in which you may need to edit several text files at the same time and also remove or add certain portions of text in each of them. These features are normally not included in most text editors, not even in Microsoft Word. Fortunately, there is one application which allows you to edit several text files at the same time and also edit certain text lines or portions of text using rules. The name of the application is TextMage.

You will be convinced about how useful the program is when running it for the first time. The first step is to add the desired text files into the program's interface. You can even add complete folders which contain text files. After this step is complete, you will be able to edit all your text files at the same time, by defining several rules. For example, you can choose to have a specific text inserted into your documents after a certain line or after a certain word. Rules are applied into all the loaded text files at the same time. All that is required is a single click from the user's side.

The program's interface features a preview pane, in which you can view text files before and after they are modified. What's more, in order to be able to apply certain rules in the future more easily, you can save them as a profile.
